Paris Saint-Germain are reported to have made Real Madrid forward Cristiano Ronaldo their No 1 transfer target with a €125m fee mooted.
Marca cites a claim from French publication L’Equipe that says any PSG approach for Ronaldo will have to wait until 2016, although the Parisians would like to move now.
They are though hamstrung by Financial Fair Play but will continue to look for a way around the limitations imposed by UEFA.
Marca has previously put the fee required to sign Ronaldo at €125m and, when every aspect of the cost of the deal is taken into account, the Portuguese would cost in the region of €300m.
PSG would be unable to afford such an investment now, and that is why any bid for Ronaldo would have to wait 12 months, Marca add.
