Gerard Pique has spoken of his pride after Barcelona regained the League title with a game to spare.
The win over Atletico Madrid meant Barca couldn’t be caught by Real Madrid and the centre-back spoke passionately after the final whistle.
“I am very proud of the whole team,” he said, Sport reports.
“We live for success and this team, after last year, had the need to win trophies.
“This team has always managed to stay up there and the reward is this, to win the League. The seasons are always long. A lot of games and three important competitions.”
