Sergio Ramos returns to Sevilla as a central midfielder tonight as Real Madrid seek to inflict a first home defeat on the Andalucians this season.
The centre-back performed further up the pitch in the second leg of Los Blancos’ Champions League quarter-final against Atletico Madrid last month, and he will assume the role at his former stomping ground this evening.
Both sides make five changes each and need the win as Barcelona reopened a five-point lead atop La Liga thanks to their 8-0 mauling of Cordoba earlier in the day, while Valencia are level on points with Sevilla in the race for fourth.
