Line-ups: Barca-Valencia

Barcelona welcome back Dani Alves while Valencia are without Jose Luis Gaya for this afternoon’s La Liga encounter at Camp Nou.

The right-back missed La Blaugrana’s 3-1 victory over Paris Saint-Germain in the Champions League on Wednesday with an ankle injury, but he returns in place of Martin Montoya, who isn’t part of the matchday squad. On the other flank, Adriano fills in for Jordi Alba.

Elsewhere, Claudio Bravo and Jeremy Mathieu both come back into the side, replacing Marc-Andre ter Stegen and Andres Iniesta, while Javier Mascherano moves into midfield and Xavi Hernandez is rewarded for his impressive cameo in France.

Valencia, meanwhile, remain without Gaya, who can only make the substitutes’ bench, but Otamendi is back in the heart of defence after completing a suspension.
