Lucas Silva confident for Camp Nou

Real Madrid midfielder Lucas Silva has declared himself confident ahead of the Clasico clash with Barcelona this weekend.

Speaking after the 2-0 home win over Levante on Sunday, the Brazilian said Los Blancos will be going to the Camp Nou to put on a good performance and bring home all three points.

“We’ll be going there to give our all and to play some good football,” he told reporters.

“If we can manage to win it will be an important step forward, although if we lose it will not be all doom and gloom. There’s still a long way to go in the season.”

Silva also commented on the possible arrival at Madrid of compatriot Danilo, who has been strongly linked with a switch from Porto to the European champions.

“He’s a very good player, a right-back who likes to get forward who is also good in defence, and his signing would be good for the club,” he said.
