Sergio Busquets has agreed a new contract with Barcelona that ties the midfielder to the club until the summer of 2019.
Barcelona confirmed the extension on their official website while Sport claim the 26-year-old’s release clause has been set at €175m, although Mundo Deportivo say it stays at €150m.
Busquets will officially sign the deal on Friday. The terms of the contract also give Barca the option to extend the deal by another year until 2020.
