Everton winger Kevin Mirallas has revealed that he would be ‘tempted’ by a move to La Liga in the summer following Atletico Madrid’s recent enquiry.
The Belgium international, who is of Spanish extract, is being tipped to leave the Premier League side at the end of the season and has made no secret of his desire to play Champions League football.
“I’ll make a decision [on my future] when the season ends. I like the Premier League, but Spain also tempts me,” he told La Capitale.
“Atletico Madrid asked [Everton] about my situation, but they didn’t come in with an offer.
“My dream is to play in the Champions League next season, either with Everton or another club.
“I never said I wanted to leave. I like it here, but I feel ready for a new challenge.”
