Fran Escriba believes the goalless draw between Elche and Getafe was a fair result but argued his side had the better chances.
The clean sheet at Coliseum Alfonso Perez was the first recorded by Elche this season and Escriba told reporters he was pleased about that, but feels his side should be better-placed than their current fourth-bottom.
“You have to look at the positives first and we have been conceding a lot of goals,” he pointed out, Marca reports.
“The draw is fair but the two best chances were ours. I think we have fewer points than we deserve. We could have three or four more. But this is what we have.
“I am very pleased with the last few games and the team is more like what we want. In the end we’re more secure.
“I think today, in terms of football, the team deserved better. But in recent games, in football terms, we have improved.”
