Luka Modric is in awe of this Real Madrid team but insists the players aren’t ready to settle for what they have.
Los Blancos made it 11 straight wins by beating Granada 4-0 on Saturday afternoon and Modric told reporters after the match that there is more to come.
“We’re in incredible form. We’re not satisfied with one or two or three goals. We always want more and more,” he said, AS reports.
“This is always a tough place to play but we deserved this win. I try to give the best of myself in every game.”
Madrid next play Liverpool in the Champions League and Modric called on his teammates to keep going, and also dismissed comparisons with Pep Guardiola’s Barcelona.
“We hope to keep going and play another great game [against Liverpool],” he continued.
“Hopefully we can play well and win.
“I don’t know you can compare us to Barcelona and Guardiola. We are Real Madrid and we want our own philosophy.
“We don’t want to be compared with anyone.”
