Jose Mourinho has said Real Madrid forward Cristiano Ronaldo is in the category of Zinidine Zidane as a one-of-a-kind player.
The former Madrid Coach spoke to French television, with his comments reported by AS.
“Ronaldo is like Zidane for the French. There won’t be another one like him,” Mourinho said.
“He’s an incredible player, a goal machine. There’s no need to say what everyone already knows.”
The Chelsea manager also discussed another Madrid player, Raphael Varane, who has been linked with a move to Stamford Bridge.
“Everyone says he will go to Chelsea and they know I really like him,” Mourinho acknowledged.
“But everyone also knows he will stay at Real Madrid.”
