Real Madrid left-back Marcelo has revealed to the Italian Press that he would one day like to play for Juventus.
AS reports the Brazil international telling Tuttosport that though he is happy in Spain for the time being he would be open to a switch to Italy in the future.
“Certainly not now but in the future I would like to wear the shirt of Juventus,” he said.
“Paul Pogba is a revelation and my idol is Lillian Thuram. I’m inspired by the best and he was always a quick and safe defender.
“My favourite food? I like everything but I will say carbonara.”
Marcelo added to his love of all things Italian by waxing lyrical about the influence of Carlo Ancelotti on his career.
“He’s like a father to me,” Marcelo said.
“And he’s always very understanding with everyone.”
