Barcelona defender Dani Alves could be set to make an amazing about-turn and stay with the Catalan club.
The Brazil international was this week quoted as saying his future lay in a move to the Premier League next season.
However, his ex-wife Dinorah Santa Ana, who also acts as his representative, told Radio Catalunya that he would like to stay at the Camp Nou.
“We would like to stay here mainly because of our children. Nobody has told him they want him to go.
“A year ago he did say he liked the Premier League, but that was a long time ago,” she insisted.
The 32-year-old’s contract with Barca expires next June and he has been linked with a move to several English clubs, most notably Manchester United, Liverpool and Chelsea.
