Luis Enrique reminded reporters after the 0-0 draw with Malaga that his players are not machines.
The Barcelona boss lamented the fact his players were unable to break down a defensive home side at La Rosaleda and believes they cannot play with the same intensity every three days.
“It wasn’t a great game for us but we know where we stand and must continue on that line,” he told a post-match Press conference.
“Players are not machines and people must understand that we are playing every three days and trying to find answers.
“We gave our all but there were two teams out there. Both tried to be superior but today our opponents were better in certain aspects, while it cost us a lot.
“However, it was a fair result,” he declared.
