Line-ups: Madrid-Elche

Keylor Navas, Asier Illarramendi and Isco all start for Real Madrid against Elche, with Iker Casillas, Luka Modric and Karim Benzema benched.

Dani Carvajal also returns to the side as part of a back four again missing Pepe, with Raphael Varane partnering Sergio Ramos at centre-back. Marcelo takes the left-back spot.

Isco is rewarded for a good show as a substitute in the 8-2 win over Deportivo La Coruna with a place from the start as Modric is rested. Illarra also comes in while Toni Kroos keeps his place.

The absence of Benzema doesn’t lead to a start for Javier Hernandez, however, with Chicharito remaining as a substitute. Gareth Bale, James Rodriguez and Cristiano Ronaldo all keep their place.

Elche go with Manu Herrera in goal, dropping Przemyslaw Tyton, the on-loan PSV Eindhoven goalkeeper.

Domingo Cisma, Sergio Pelegrin, David Lomban and Edu Albacar form the back four, with Pedro Mosquera, Adrian and Victor Rodriguez in midfield.

Garry Rodrigues, Coro and Jonathas complete Fran Escriba’s XI.
