‘Levante have to compete better’

Jose Luis Mendilibar wants to see a stronger Levante, one willing to get in their opponents’ faces, starting against Malaga.

Levante have lost their opening two League games and ahead of the trip to Malaga, Mendilibar told a Press conference there’s no use in being a shrinking violet.

“We’ve trained well but now we need to compete well, be brash,” AS reports the Coach as saying.

“If we fail, it’s not a bad thing. It’s bad if we get ourselves down. We have to improve on these things.

“I told the players that if we compete as we train, we’ll do well.”
