Cristiano Ronaldo is back in training with Real Madrid ahead of this Saturday’s derby clash with Atletico Madrid at the Santiago Bernabeu.
The Portuguese star was left out of Los Blancos’ 4-2 defeat at Real Sociedad last week after an accumulation of injuries left him struggling for fitness, and was absent for his country’s shock 1-0 loss to Albania at the weekend.
Everything points to Ronaldo returning to the starting line-up against Diego Simeone’s outfit, and Tuesday also saw the return to training of Toni Kroos, Fabio Coentrao, Pepe, Iker Casillas, Isco, Raphael Varane and Karim Benzema.
Marca reports that the former Manchester United striker joined in with the rest of his teammates, while Dani Carvajal, Jese and Sergio Ramos trained inside the Valdebebas complex.
