Rodrigo Moreno has welcomed the arrival of Alvaro Negredo at Valencia and wished Paco Alcacer luck with the Spain set-up.
Rodrigo was speaking to Valencia’s official website, with his comments published by AS.
“Negredo is a fantastic player, he’s shown that in recent years and hopefully he’ll be fit soon,” he said.
“Personally, as we have met in the treatment room, he looks humble despite all that he has done and what he represents.
“I think he’s a very good signing and hopefully he will help us all.”
Rodrigo, after revealing he hopes to be back in training at the start of the week after an injury of his own, also congratulated Alcacer on his inclusion in the Spain squad.
“Paco has made me very welcome and in the little time I’ve known him I have a very good relationship with him,” he continued.
“I’m super happy he’s in the senior team and I hope that in the next game he can play and score.”
