Milan Coach Pippo Inzaghi has paid tribute to his Real Madrid counterpart Carlo Ancelotti, adding he hopes he can follow his lead.
Inzaghi played under Ancelotti at Milan and was named Coach of the San Siro club this summer.
Speaking after the UEFA Coaches’ forum, Inzaghi revealed he felt a little out of place surrounded by the likes of Ancelotti, Jose Mourinho and Pep Guardiola.
“Carlo is special. I hope to follow him, he’s an example for me,” AS reports Inzaghi told La Gazzetta.
“I want to return Milan to the top. The truth is I was surprised to be here with great trainers such as Carlo, Mourinho or Guardiola.
“I found it strange being here with Luis Enrique.”
