Antoine Griezmann believes France have to beat Spain tomorrow night, although his reasons are more personal than anything else.
The Atletico Madrid winger will line up against a number of club colleagues and he told reporters that if Les Bleus fall to La Roja, he’ll never hear the end of it.
“We have to win at all costs. If we don’t, I don’t know how I’ll go back to the locker room,” he said, according to AS.
“There will be lots of jokes since I’m facing three teammates. Plus it’s a great game against a great team. It’s a must win.
“Of course Spain are still a great team. It will be a great game. We are ready to play at home.
“In their team, the young players who have come to replace others are very talented. Spain want to prove they haven’t lost their quality despite the failure in Brazil.”
