Valencia Coach Nuno Espirito says facing Malaga is no more special than any other opposition despite having worked at the club.
The Portuguese was goalkeeping coach under Jesualdo Ferreira and told a Press conference that while he has friends in the area, his good memories of Malaga mean nothing.
“A Coach in his career is always going to face clubs where he was and that doesn’t change anything,” AS quotes Nuno as saying.
“I see them as rivals. I have friends in Malaga and I appreciate the good times there but they are my rivals.
“I already know the side to play Malaga and it will be a good team.
“We are excited for the game and want to be strong. We feel the support of the people in Mestalla and now we have to feed this dream by doing well, fighting and winning.”
