Angel Di Maria is set for a medical at Manchester United this morning, before completing his move from Real Madrid.
Reports in several British outlets today, including Sky Sports, claim that the Premier League outfit have agreed a fee with Los Blancos for the Argentina international – thought to be in the region of £59.7m [€75m].
The fee will be a new British record, eclipsing the £50m paid by Chelsea for Fernando Torres back in 2011.
Di Maria will undergo a routine medical examination, and could be in the squad in time to make his debut for Louis van Gaal’s men on Saturday against Burnley.
