Sergio Ramos has insisted that Real Madrid will get over their Supercopa de Espana defeat to Atletico Madrid.
Mario Mandzukic scored a second minute goal to give the Colchoneros a 1-0 win on the night and a 2-1 victory on aggregate.
And despite the loss, the defender has claimed that his men will move on and now focus on the season ahead.
“Whenever we lose it is a sad day,” he told reporters.
“We would've liked to have won the trophy but kudos to Atletico Madrid.
“We leave the stadium relaxed. They scored the goal and the crowd pushed them forward – I congratulate them.
“We've had to handle defeat many times and you can't draw any conclusions.
“The defeat will pass and we will have brighter days.”
