Reports in Spain claim that if Tottenham Hotspur sign Mateo Musacchio from Villarreal, Jan Vertonghen could join Barcelona.
AS say that Spurs want the Argentine centre-back and if they can complete the signing, would allow Vertonghen to move to Camp Nou.
Barca have signed Jeremy Mathieu from Valencia but are said to want another centre-back, with Paris Saint-Germain’s Marquinhos still on the agenda, as well as Vertonghen.
