Line-ups: Netherlands-Argentina

Robin van Persie and Nigel de Jong are fit to line-up for the Netherlands in the World Cup semi-final against Argentina.

De Jong had originally been ruled out of the rest of the tournament with a groin injury but suggestions surfaced this week that he could be ready to play the South Americans.

Van Persie was also considered a doubt after a stomach complaint but both players have made it.

Argentina are without Real Madrid midfielder Angel Di Maria, with Benfica’s Enzo Perez coming into the side.

It had been rumoured that Sergio Aguero could be involved but the Manchester City man doesn’t make the starting line-up, although Alejandro Sabella could use Aguero from the bench.

The winners of the tie meet Germany in Sunday’s final after Germany demolished the hosts Brazil on Tuesday, routing Brazil 7-1.
