Cristiano Ronaldo appeared to limp away from training ahead of Portugal’s next World Cup game and was seen with an ice pack on his knee.
The BBC report that the Real Madrid forward received treatment on his left knee and has recently suffered with injuries to the area.
Portugal were beaten 4-0 by Germany in their first Group G game after Pepe was sent off in the first half and next face the United States, the match taking place on Sunday.
Sevilla goalkeeper Beto said at a Press conference however that Ronaldo is expected to play against the Americans.
“Cristiano is 100% fit to play. Every match, if he starts to play, it is because he is fit to play, he's ready to play,” he said.
