Jose Mourinho believes Atletico Madrid and Spain striker Diego Costa will become a Chelsea player.
The Blues manager has told Marca that he will be able to call on Costa next season, as well as Atleti midfielder Tiago and Filipe Luis, Marca add.
“Costa is a player that I’ll have on my team,” the former Real Madrid Coach said.
“I have asked my club for him and I have full confidence that we will get him and finally he’ll sign for Chelsea.”
The subject of Thibaut Courtois, the Chelsea goalkeeper who has been on loan at Atletico for three years, was also raised.
“There’s no history here. At the end of the World Cup, Courtois comes straight back to Stamford Bridge,” Mourinho insisted.
