Gareth Bale has revealed he dreams of helping Real Madrid to further success and claiming the Ballon d’Or for himself.
Bale’s Madrid teammate Cristiano Ronaldo is currently recognised as the world’s best player but the Wales winger wants to replicate the Portuguese and add to the Copa del Rey and Champions League won in his first season at the club.
AS cite sources that quote Bale as confirming his lofty goals, set both individually and for his club.
“This season I want to win the Ballon d’Or and win everything for Madrid,” the former Tottenham Hotspur man is alleged to have said.
“I want Madrid to be the best team in the world without question,” he added.
