Luis Enrique’s surgery for acute appendicitis was a success and the Barcelona Coach will be released from hospital in a couple of days.
AS reports a statement from the club in which they confirm Enrique’s surgery went well and expect him to be home soon.
“Barcelona Coach Luis Enrique underwent emergency surgery for acute appendicitis,” the statement says.
“The surgery was completed successfully and he will receive a medical discharge in the coming days.”
Enrique was appointed last month to replace Tata Martino, having resigned his post at Celta Vigo.
