And according to the paper, the Spain international has been told that he will be sidelined for two weeks after pulling up in Atleti’s 1-1 draw with Barcelona at the weekend.
It means that the Colchoneros talisman will almost certainly miss this Saturday’s Champions League final against Real Madrid, and will be in a race against time to be available for La Roja in the World Cup.
