Barcelona Vice-president Carles Villarrubi has said that the club will take the opportunity given to them by the suspension of their transfer ban.
It was confirmed yesterday that Barca will be able to make signings while their appeal is heard, having previously been restricted from all transfer activity until the summer of 2015.
Barca were sanctioned for irregularities relating to the signing of players aged under 18 from outside Spain.
“It’s a continuous process and has only been temporarily suspended,” Sport reports Villarrubi told TV3.
“We are still subject to legal proceedings that have been opened with the sanction. But it means we can sign this summer.
“We’ll continue working discreetly and making progress with FIFA.
“Barca face a process of evolution, not revolution.”
