Madrid: Benzema out, Suarez in?

Real Madrid could be willing to sell Karim Benzema in order to sign Liverpool striker Luis Suarez, it is claimed.

The France international has enjoyed a superb campaign for Los Blancos, teaming up with Cristiano Ronaldo and Gareth Bale to form the ‘BBC’ attacking three.

But the Daily Express, citing ‘reports in Italy’, believe that Carlo Ancelotti will let the former Lyon man go in the summer, so they can bring in the Uruguay international.

Suarez has scored 30 goals in 30 Premier League appearances for the Merseyside club, but it is suggested that the Anfield outfit would be extremely reticent to sell their star man.

It may take another world record bid in order to prize Suarez away from Brendan Rodgers’ team.

Benzema meanwhile, will have no trouble finding a new side. Both Juventus and Arsenal are thought to be keen.
