Line-ups: Atleti-Chelsea

Diego Ribas will start in place of David Villa as Atletico Madrid host Chelsea this evening.

The Rojiblancos play the west London outfit in the first leg of their Champions League semi-final tonight.

And Diego Simeone has opted for the Brazilian playmaker over the Spain international to partner Diego Costa.

Chelsea loanee Thibaut Courtois plays, despite initial suggestions Atleti would have to pay for the Belgian to face his parent club.

But UEFA have stepped in and allowed the youngster to lead a backline that includes Juanfran, Mirande, Diego Godin and Filipe.

Mario Suarez and Gabi will sit at the base of the midfield, but Arda Turan has not been deemed fit enough to start, as Koke and Raul Garcia complete the quartet.

For the away side, Samuel Eto’o was missing through injury and Branislav Ivanovic because of suspension, so Ashley Cole came in at left-back, with Fernando Torres returning to his old club.

Petr Cech was able to start after illness, but Eden Hazard was left on the bench, with Ramires and Willian supporting the former Colchoneros striker.

Atletico Madrid: Courtois; Juanfran, Miranda, Godín, Filipe; Mario, Gabi; Koke, Raúl García, Diego; Diego Costa

Chelsea: Cech; Azpilicueta, Cahill, Terry, Cole; Mikel, David Luiz, Lampard; Ramires, Willian, Torres
