Ronaldo fit for Bayern game – report

Reports in Spain have suggested that Cristiano Ronaldo will be involved against Bayern Munich in the Champions  League semi-final on Wednesday.

Marca claims that Ronaldo has made sufficient progress to be part of Carlo Ancelotti’s squad for the game at Santiago Bernabeu although he may not feature from the very start of the game.

Ronaldo has missed three weeks of playing time due to a couple of injuries – a knee problem ruling the forward out of action at first and then a thigh injury compounding matters.

Ancelotti is not expected to take any risks with the Portugal international as both player and Coach agree that a recurrence of his injury would be devastating for both club and country with the season’s climax at hand and the World Cup to come.

But Ronaldo did train this weekend, as did Casemiro, Sergio Ramos and Marcelo.
