Diego Costa has not broken his leg, reports in Spain have said, after the Atletico Madrid striker was stretchered off against Getafe.
Costa collided with the post after sliding in to score the second goal of Atletico’s 2-0 win and there was a lot of concern over the Spain international, who appeared in great discomfort.
But initial reports have said Costa has suffered only a cut and no broken bones. There’s no word on how long Costa will need to recover.
