Arrasate: We looked comfortable, then…

Jagoba Arrasate thought that Real Madrid’s first goal on Saturday completely changed the game.

Real Sociedad lost 4-0 to Los Blancos at the Anoeta yesterday evening, but the scores level leading into half-time, Asier Illarramendi popped up with a strike right on 45 minutes.

And the Real Coach admitted that that was a decisive moment in the fixture, as the capital club went on to dominate the second half.

“I thought we started well,” he told a Press conference. “It was a balanced first half with very few chances.

“We looked comfortable, but that goal going into the break really damaged us – it changed the match completely.

“And then their second goal [from Gareth Bale] just killed us. If you make mistakes against this time, you’ll pay.

“We have to forget about this though and focus our attentions on the Celta Vigo game.”
