Line-ups: Sociedad-Madrid

Carlo Ancelotti has named Isco in place of Cristiano Ronaldo in the Real Madrid attack to play Real Sociedad tonight.

Ronaldo has been rested in order to protect a troublesome knee injury and Isco, came in for Angel Di Maria in midfield against Borussia Dortmund in midweek, moves into the forward line.

Asier Illaramendi makes his return to Anoeta in midfield, with another La Real old boy, Xabi Alonso. They are joined by Luka Modric while Gareth Bale and Karim Benzema team with Isco in the front three.

Nacho comes in at left-back in Ancelotti’s much-changed XI but it’s as you were in goal as Diego Lopez again keeps out Iker Casillas.

Jagoba Arrasate makes three changes to the team that played Osasuna on Sunday.

Alberto de la Bella, Gonzalo Castro and Imanol Agirretxe are replaced by Jose Angel, Sergio Canales and Antoine Griezmann.

Claudio Bravo retains the gloves with Carlos Martinez, Mikel Gonzalez and Inigo Martinez joining Angel in defence.

David Zurutuza could join Mikel Bergara and Gorka Elustondo in midfield with Carlos Vela linking up with Canales and Griezmann in a three-man attack.

Real Sociedad: Bravo, C Martinez, Mikel, I Martinez, Angel; Bergara, Zurutuza, Elustondo; Griezmann, Vela, Canales
