Madrid to table Hart bid?

Real Madrid are ready to make a €30m move for Manchester City’s Joe Hart, according to reports in the British Press.

The Daily Star write on Tuesday morning that Los Blancos are keen to sign the English goalkeeper this summer, with Iker Casillas’ future uncertain.

The World Cup-winner is currently being benched by Carlo Ancelotti, with Diego Lopez being chosen instead of the League campaign.

But the paper believes that the Italian tactician is unsure if Lopez is the best long-term option for his side, and will therefore opt to bring in Hart at the end of the season.

The Citizens No.1 has recently spoken for the first time about being dropped earlier in the campaign by Manuel Pellegrini, and those comments have pricked the ears of the Liga giants, who believe they have a good chance of tempting Hart.

“I wanted to play, but I wasn't playing so I had to work hard and wait for my chance again,” the Daily Star reports.

“It's tough to say because that's probably one of the main reasons I've not really spoken about it.

“I don't feel it's a case of that side of things being really solved. I'm still training hard – as I would be whether I was in or out of the team – and I'm always working to improve my game.

“I don't want it to seem as though everything is fine or that it was part of my life that I will forget because I'm still living it and I am trying to live in the moment more recently.

“The past is the past and we don't know what lies ahead in the future – so it's better to live day by day.

"We are going to get some wonderful opportunities at this club – some I will be playing in, some that I won't – and I'm just trying to look at things the best I can.”

Pellegrini however, will only think about selling Hart if he gets Casillas as part of a swap deal, or Barcelona’s Victor Valdes.
