Atletis fans bemoan CL prices

Atletico Madrid’s official supporters group have hit out at Barcelona for their extortionate ticket prices for the Champions League quarter-final.

The capital club have been drawn against the Blaugrana for the Last Eight of the competition, and go to Camp Nou for the first leg on April 2.

However, the supporters group has insisted that the Catalan giants should be ashamed at charging €93 per ticket for the clash.

“During times of economic hardship, it’s a shame that fans are unable to attend the stadium for a Champions League quarter final just because ticket prices are high,” a statement read.

“Around 3,000 Atlético fans travelled to Milan and were able to gain entry to the stadium for €35. Setting high ticket prices goes against football as an event and the public.”
