Diego Costa has said Atletico Madrid will enjoy the next round of the Champions League after beating Milan on Tuesday.
The Spain international spoke with UEFA’s official website after the match, which ended 4-1 on the night and 5-1 on aggregate.
“I’m doing well in the Champions League and I’m scoring a lot in La Liga too,” Costa said.
“We know that this tournament has many great teams and that it is really special playing against them,” he continued.
“Every game I play, I try to do my best and things are working out for me.
“[After Kaka equalised], we knew we had to remain calm in the ensuing minutes until things calmed down.
“We will look to enjoy ourselves in the next round. There will be fantastic teams in the last eight so there's no point choosing a rival.”
