Alves: Still 90 minutes to go

Dani Alves has warned against complacency when his Barcelona side host Manchester City in three weeks’ time.

The Blaugrana beat the English side on their home turf this evening, thanks to goals from Lionel Messi and the Brazilian himself.

Despite two away goals though, the full-back has claimed that his men are not yet through to the Champions League quarter-finals.

“We knew it was going to be a tough match,” he told TVE. “They are an opponent that isn’t used to being second-best.

“We knew that whatever happened here, there is still another 90 minutes to go in which anything could happen.

“But we have a big advantage having kept a clean sheet.”
