Barcelona winger Cristian Tello is being reported today as on the verge of agreeing to a loan switch out to Liverpool.
The 22-year-old was strongly linked with the Anfield outfit last summer, as well as Atletico Madrid, on from limited playing time in 2012-13 with Barca and a relatively low buyout clause set at €10m.
On from improving his contract, though, which has upped that clause to €25m, the winger remained with the Catalans heading into the 2013-14 campaign.
However, on from struggling once more for regular playing time, through injury and competition for places, Tello commented recently that he may have to seek a loan move away to earn more minutes.
Rumours today from Radio Marca suggest that whilst hints have been that his situation would be assessed come next summer, a temporary move out to Liverpool on loan is on the verge of being agreed for six months from this January.
Superdeporte had suggested this week that Valencia are also interested in a possible loan deal for Tello.
