Real Madrid will make a January move for Paris Saint-Germain midfielder Blaise Matuidi, reports suggest.
France Football have claimed that Los Blancos have been tracking the French youngster for some time, and will finally make their move during the winter window.
The 26-year-old is out of contract at Parc des Princes in the summer, and can start talking to clubs from January 1.
And the magazine believes that Carlo Ancelotti’s men will act quickly to tie sign Matuidi on a pre-contract agreement, bringing him in on a Bosman in the summer.
The move may have consequences for Xabi Alonso though, who is also out of contract in June. The former Liverpool man has been attracting interest from Juventus, with contract talks at Santiago Bernabeu stalling.
