Granada boss Lucas Alcaraz has tried to calm expectations, saying everything in football ‘is measured in seven days’.
El Grana beat Rayo Vallecano 2-0 on Saturday evening to move to 20 points for the season, but the Coach has called for patience from the fans.
“Optimism or pessimism in football are measure in seven days,” he told a Press conference.
“In football there is no half of anything. I am not looking below us or above us in the table at the moment.
“I am just looking at Alcorcon [in the Copa del Rey].
“Thirty years in football has taught that things change in a week.
“The match changed, sure, when they had their man sent off, but even with 11 against 11 I fancied us.”
