Jordi Alba and Carles Puyol have been included in Barcelona’s squad to face Cartagena tomorrow, but Xavi Hernandez and Andres Iniesta miss out.
The midfield duo have not trained correctly through the week with respective injury issues, Iniesta in his hamstring and Xavi in his calf, and neither have made the cut for Friday’s Copa del Rey clash.
For the trip out to their Segunda B opponents, though, Barca do include Jordi Alba for the first time in over two months, whilst Puyol is another notable inclusion, on from requiring fluid to be drained from his knee earlier in the week.
