Ruben, Molina back in training

After all but resigning himself to being without his two main strikers for the Sevilla derby,

Pepe Mel has received some good news.

The Real Betis boss saw both Jorge Molina and Ruben Castro join in training at the club’s Montecastillo headquarters, with both given an outside chance of featuring in Sunday night’s game at the Sanchez Pizjuan.

Having missed the last two sessions, the pair are set to undergo intensive treatment in a bid to get them ready for a game vital to bottom club Betis’ hopes of climbing the table, and will be given until the last minute in a bid to prove their fitness.

If unsuccessful, Mel plans to play former Recreativo de Huelva striker Chuli, signed at the start of the season, in the lone striking role.
