Riccardo Montolivo thought Milan ‘failed to make the most of our chances’ as they lost 3-1 to Barcelona.
“It is difficult to come here and play, though we created a few opportunities. It’s a shame we failed to make the most of our chances,” the captain told Mediaset.
“We will have to earn our qualification in the next two games against Ajax and Celtic.”
Massimiliano Allegri surprised many by leaving Mario Balotelli on the bench for the first half.
“The Coach chose the best line-up, then Balotelli came on and did well, playing with the right spirit. He can do so much more when he plays like that.”
