Osasuna midfielder Sisi will undergo surgery on a knee injury sustained last week in approximately three weeks’ time.
The 27-year-old suffered a torn anterior cruciate ligament and torn medial meniscus in his left knee whilst in action for his side against Barcelona in Week 9.
After consulting with medical staff in Vitoria today, surgery on the joint will take place in about three weeks from now.
Initial reports were that the injury may be career threatening, whilst it is expected that he faces at least six months out on the sidelines.
