Villarreal defender Mario Gaspar has urged his side to continue after the international break in the same vein as their start to the season.
The Yellow Submarine currently sit in fourth place in the table, claiming 17 points from their first eight games.
And the right-back has claimed that his men want to come back from the international break and start with a win against Athletic Bilbao on Monday.
“Our idea is to continue as before,” he told reporters. “We believe that we have the quality to continue this sort of form.
“Training has been demanding, but that is hopefully going to be reflected on the pitch and in our performances.
“I’ve played in all the games and have been very satisfied. There is competition within the squad, and the whole squad is making it difficult for the Coach.
“Athletic are going to be a difficult side, but we’re hopeful of getting three points.”
