Carboni: Rami good for Milan

Amadeo Carboni has backed Milan in their prospective capture of Valencia defender Adil Rami for January.

The Frenchman underwent a medical at the San Siro outfit this weekend ahead of joining the club on an initial loan switch until the end of the season.

For one of Los Che’s most notable former defenders, the Italians have a good deal on their hands.

“Rami has a great physique, is good with his feet and in his positioning,” Carboni has reflected to Tuttosport.

“In terms of his movement he reminds me of Lucio. Maybe, sometimes, he takes too many risks on the pitch. He could perhaps just boot it into the stands on occasion.

“If he can adapt to Italian football, Milan can feel relaxed, they will have a good defender.

“Rami has personality, he knows Mexes and I think he’ll fit in at Milan straight away.”
