Angel Di Maria has admitted that he just wants to convince Carlo Ancelotti he’s good enough to start for Real Madrid.
The Argentine winger scored twice as Los Blancos beat Copenhagen 4-0 on Tuesday – Cristiano Ronaldo with the other two.
“I keep trying to convince the Coach that I want to be in the starting XI,” he told Canal +.
“Sometimes things go your way, sometimes they don’t.
“But I thought we played a great match.
“We changed the system to three up front and it worked.
“The Coach has told us he was very happy.”
